Autism Acceptance Month!

This April the DHSC will be celebrating international Autism Acceptance Month with a campaign aimed at raising public awareness and understanding of autism and autism spectrum conditions (ASCs).

The DHSC Engagement Team has put together some posters and social media graphics, as well as some specific advice and information guides for people and organisations interested in improving accessibility and inclusion.

They have set up a webpage for the campaign –gov.im/autismacceptance – and they will add to that over the course of the month with more advice and signposting.  They will also be sharing interviews with some of our Island’s autistic community, to help people better understand the range and diversity of autistic experiences
