The Village Rate is fixed in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 1985 [as amended].
Rates are collected on behalf of Port St Mary Commissioners by The Treasury. Should you wish to pay your rates within the village, you may do so at the Post Office on Bay View Road.
Audited Accounts
Local Authorities are required to prepare accounts in accordance with the Isle of Man Statement of Recommended Practice 2007 [SORP] and are subject to the provisions of the Audit Act 2006.
The SORP is recognised under the Audit Act 2006 and the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2007 as representing proper accounting practice.
